  • Managed the development of a bespoke system to charge for the Use of the National Grid, which was directly linked to an Asset Register.
  • Managed an external contract with a software house to write Major Asset Register System covering technical, financial and commercial data.
  • Developed interfaces to create a distributed network for localised work management and accounting linking RAPIER and ORACLE Financials.
  • Designed and set up an initial suite of Business Systems for the newly privatised National Grid; with data migration from five CEGB regions.
  • Established and gained BS5750 accreditation for development and maintenance processes.
  • Established a Wayleave System for the new ENERGIS Telecommunications Company created by National Grid.
